“Serve, love, give, purify, meditate, realise” – these teachings are the spiritual strength behind the Antharaathma Yoga Ayurveda Centre and have inspired spiritual aspirants to live a life of brotherly love and spiritual unity.
We offer many courses in Yoga and Meditation for the Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced practitioner. We follow the ancient discipline of yoga practise as taught by Sri Swami Vishnudevananda, one of the foremost disciples of Sri Swami Sivananda of Rishikesh. One of the great yoga masters of twentieth-century India.
We are centrally located within the city, just one kilometers from Technopark in Trivandrum. Antharaathma Yoga Ayurveda Nilayam follows International Sivananda Yoga Method of Teaching (ISYVC), run by voluntary staff and dedicated to the aim of disseminating the knowledge of yoga.
Swami Vishnudevananda synthesized the ancient wisdom of yoga into five basic principles that could easily be incorporated into one’s daily lifestyle to provide the foundation for healthy living. The teachings at the Centre are based around these ‘Five Points of Yoga’:
- Proper Exercise – Asana
Proper Breathing – Pranayama
Proper Relaxation – Savasana
Proper Diet – Vegetarian
Positive Thinking and Meditation – Vedanta and Dhyana
